Who we are
We are a joint venture between Baribright (Baribright International Inc.) in Canada and CPC (Chemical Products Corporation) in the United States.
Barimont is operating by Baribright management teams, equipped with innovated and customized beneficiation facilities, which create better yield rate and lower waste.
We have set new head office in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, and managing Barite mines and processing plant close to Mazatán, 110km from Hermosillo.
Barimont has 14 mining concessions covering 5000 hectares in Sonora (Barison 1-9 and other 5 concessions). Discovered economically mining reserve amounts to 20million MT, majority of open mines.
Barimont is operating open mining since Sep, 2019, current mining production of drilling grade barite is 40,000mt per month. We have beneficiation plant as well as milling plant at mine site. After extension of new concentration line and new Raymond mills in June 2022, our annual capacity amount to 250,000MT of ore and 150,000Mt of API powder.
Barimont has the world’s most advanced beneficiation technology and equipment, complete laboratory and experimental equipment in line with API and EPA standards, which are the cornerstone to ensure that Barimont produces all kinds of qualified products.

Barimont plant is 230km from Guyamas port with national way connected from plant to port. Guyamas port can berth Panamax vessels with loading rate at 10,000mt per day for barite ore.
At the same time, it can bear the daily shipping capacity of 25 containers. Short voyage time to US gulf ports with 14 days only, 15-20 days to South America ports such as Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.
Close to Mexican railway, connected with US and Canada railway network, very convenient for railway shipment. The loading train station is just 200 kilometers from the U.S. -Mexico border, rail transportation cost is competitive.
